Overview The VTOS-POST option permits VTOS Builder users to ship Kozio's high-integrity, high-coverage test capabilities with their finished products, enabling a full hardware check to be performed at every power cycle. With no additional development, users can be sure their systems continue to work reliably after shipping. A lower rate of false negatives in the field results in fewer service calls, and those that are still required are faster, thanks to pinpoint problem identification. Finally, any products returned from the field can be debugged at incoming inspection, ensuring correct and prompt handling of returned materials.
Power-On Self-Test Adapted to Your Design VTOS-POST is generated by VTOS Builder ready to run on your custom hardware. An example POST application that can be used as a guide is included with the VTOS-POST package. This self-booting binary application is fully script-configurable for best test coverage and fastest boot time.. Simple configuration and integration Using the VTOS-POST package, VTOS Builder generates boot code, drivers, and all other software necessary to boot your hardware system's processor and execute the test suite. When completed, VTOS-POST can copy, load and launch the final boot loader and application. Full POST test results are stored in a defined location in system memory, and can be accessed by your production OS and application. |
