Our showing at Embedded World 2013
I am writing this blog from Nuremberg Germany. Kozio had a booth at Embedded World this past week and we had many good meetings and introductions to companies in Europe and Asia. This was our first year at Embedded World and a great experience.
Embedded World is a very large show, somewhat smaller than Electronica, but much larger than the typical trade shows in the United States. A lot of money is spent producing very elaborate booths at Embedded World. Most of the larger companies have traditional booths, plus private meeting rooms, and bar areas where visitors can sit, drink, eat, and talk – a very inviting and comfortable atmosphere.
There were five exhibition halls filled with technology companies demonstrating their latest technologies, with each hall having close to a hundred booths. Kozio introduced its new Verification and Test OS supporting designs using the TI AM335x processor.
A few highlights from the show are pictured below. Click on the thumbnails for a larger picture. The highlights include a view of our booth, and demo stand, a robot solving a Rubik cube (although it was very slow), a beer garden on the show floor.
During the trip we were also able to explore Nuremberg which is a beautiful city and we enjoyed many fine German meals. I look forward to returning to Nuremberg in the future.
