VTOS Scan™ Release for Xilinx Zynq-7000 Designs
Functional Circuit Board Test
Pre-configured firmware is delivered supporting the ARM® Cortex®-A9 hard core. Example configurations for the ZedBoard and MicroZed are included.
VTOS Scan™ is a low-cost software product that provides everything you need to identify interconnect faults and component placement problems on your printed circuit board. VTOS Scan is also a powerful standalone debug tool – quickly finding problems that prevent other embedded software from running.
VTOS Scan provides a GUI for configuring new tests specific to your board design. VTOS Scan also provides a firmware image that runs on your target device and performs the hardware tests.
VTOS Scan allows you to export your test configuration settings into a TestStand Sequence File or Kozio Script file. The Kozio script file can be executed using Kozio’s free vAccessTest executable.
This release supports the following Zynq-7000 SoC types:
The following interfaces in the PS (processing subsystem) of the Zynq-7000 family SoC are supported:
- UART0, UART2
- I2C0, I2C1
- SPI0, SPI1
- GPIO0 (MIO[31:0]), GPIO1 (MIO[53:32]), GPIO2 (EMIO[31:0]), and GPIO3 (EMIO[63:32])
VTOS Scan provides a stable but dynamic platform for finding faults that prevent your boot loader or OS from running properly.
VTOS Scan is updated regularly to support new processor architectures. Please let us know which processor you want supported next.
