IXP435 Support |
|
We released validation support for custom boards using the new IXP43x processor family of Intel IXP processors. The IXP435 is the next generation processor from Intel offering significant improvements in integration, functionality and performance over the immensely popular IXP425.
We put our diagnostics software through regression testing using the NTNP435C development platform, pictured here, through our partnership with ADI Engineering. The kDiagnostics™ product was also updated to include a newer version of the IXP400 Software package for full NPE support. Automated test suites are included for covering all functions of a board including DDR2 SDRAM, Flash, PCI, Ethernet, USB 2.0, Compact Flash, I2C devices, GPIO, RS-232, and others.

RapidIO® Support |
| |
We updated our hardware validation support to include test suites for RapidIO® testing. This new test feature provides for automatic bus scanning, configuration, device discovery, register-level access and memory mapping of devices founds on the SRIO bus. Additional information can be found in our press release listed below.
Our RapidIO® test suite was put through regression testing using two MPC8548 boards running kDiagnostics and a Serial RapidIO® Interoperability Platform (SSRP) from Silicon Turnkey Express (STx).

405EX Support |
| |
We are releasing validation support for custom boards using the new 405EX from AMCC. The PowerPC 405EX is based on Power Architecture™ technology and is optimized for the demanding requirements of 802.11n (Wi-Fi) and WiMAXTM-based wireless access points and similar embedded processing or network control applications.
Our diagnostics software will be used to validate the latest 405EX development platform, through our partnership with AMCC. Automated test suites are included for functional validation of all aspects of the board, for example: DDR2 SDRAM, Flash, PCI, Ethernet, USB 2.0, Compact Flash, I2C devices, GPIO and RS-232.
