DDR Optimization, HW Testing, and Programming for Zynq SoCs

VTOS Tool firmware can be loaded into Zynq on-chip memory using JTAG, SD Card, or other available methods. No boot loader or OS software is required. All VTOS Tool firmware images are small, so they load fast, and run faster than software running from DDR memory.
In addition, the interpretive nature of these products provide a highly stable environment even through processor, memory and device faults. All VTOS Tools require minimal working components – only the processor core and communications interface (often serial) has to be working. New pin mux settings, DDR settings, and other configuration items are accomplished without code recompiling, image loading, and system restarts. Just load the new settings and test again.
